How to Create a Zapier Account and Connect MIYN with Smokeball via Zapier

Step 1: Create a Zapier Account #

 

1. Go to Zapier:

Visit Zapier’s website.

 

2. Sign Up / Log In:

a. Click on Sign Up for Free (or Log In if you already have an account).

b. You can sign up using Google, Microsoft, or an email address.

c. Complete the registration process.

 

3. Verify Your Email:

a. Check your inbox for a verification email from Zapier.

b. Click the verification link to activate your account.

Step 2: Connect MIYN with Smokeball in Zapier #

Zapier works by creating Zaps, which automate workflows between different apps. You need to set up a Zap to connect MIYN and Smokeball.

1. Create a New Zap #

a. Click on “Create a Zap” on your Zapier dashboard.

b. Search for MIYN as the Trigger App.

1. Choose an Event:

a. Select a trigger event, such as “New Lead”.

 

2. Connect MIYN to Zapier:

a. Click on “Connect Account” and enter your MIYN API key.

b. You can get your API key by logging into MIYN at MIYN API Settings.

c. Click Continue.

 

3. Test the Trigger:

a. Zapier will try to fetch a sample booking from MIYN.

b. If successful, proceed to the next step.

3. Set Up Smokeball as the Action App #

 

1. Search for Smokeball as the Action App.

a. If Smokeball is not listed, check if it supports Zapier integration.

2. Choose an Action Event:

a. Select an action like “Create Lead”.

3. Connect Smokeball to Zapier:

a. Click “Connect Account” and enter your Smokeball user credentials.

b. If using webhooks, get the Smokeball API endpoint from their documentation.

4. Map MIYN Data to Smokeball Fields:

a. Match MIYN fields (e.g., Client Name, Client Email, Client Phone Number) with Smokeball’s fields.

5. Test the Zap:

a. Click “Test & Continue” to check if data is sent correctly.

4. Turn On the Zap #

 

a. Once testing is successful, click “Turn On Zap”.

b. Your automation is now active.
